So here is the picture of why I even got up early Saturday morning. And by early I mean 5AM! I was determined to get this panoramic and since I didn’t have to deal w/ the sun setting, I knew it was going to easier to take.
I grabbed my camera and my tripod and biked up to Fort Washington Park. It took me a while to remember how to use my camera in manual mode, but I got it to work. I managed to get from the park on the left all the way around to the GWB. It’s close to 180 degrees.
Unfortunately this picture is the reason why I even got a Gigapan account. Let’s face it, Flickr wouldn’t allow it (file size restriction) and I don’t want to upload it anywhere else. Plus I was going to get a Gigapan account eventually.
And by the way, this picture is only 88MegaPixels. Far from being a GigaPixel picture, but I will get there soon…
